Listening to Ourselves. Listening to Others. Starts Tonight!

Several years ago, many of us began a journey of self-discovery with the help of a tool called the Enneagram. Our conversation together enabled us to learn more about ourselves and, ultimately, one another. We found that the Enneagram can help us become the person God has created us to become.

This winter, we will take another step on the journey. You are invited to read The Path Between Us: An Enneagram Journey to Healthy Relationships by Suzanne Stabile and to discuss what we're learning together in a 6-week, small group setting.

About The Path Between Us: An Enneagram Journey to Healthy Relationships by Suzanne Stabile:

"Most of us have no idea how others see or process their experiences. And that can make relationships hard, whether with intimate partners, with friends, or in our professional lives. Understanding the motivations and dynamics of these different personality types can be the key that unlocks sometimes mystifying behavior in others―and in ourselves. This book from Suzanne Stabile on the nine Enneagram types and how they behave and experience relationships will guide readers into deeper insights about themselves, their types, and others' personalities so that they can have healthier, more life-giving relationships. No one is better equipped than Suzanne Stabile, coauthor, with Ian Morgan Cron, of The Road Back to You, to share the Enneagram's wisdom on how relationships work―or don't."

Regardless of whether you began this journey with us in 2017 or not, we hope that you will join us for our kick-off meeting on Wednesday, January 26, at 6:00 PM to learn more about this study experience. The Mission and Fellowship Center will be open at 5:15 PM for those who want to eat a take-out meal. Our one-hour introductory meeting will begin at 6:00 PM. Those unfamiliar with the Enneagram will have the chance to learn more about it so that they can come up alongside us as we seek to strengthen our relationships with our spouses, our children, our in-laws, our co-workers, and our friends and neighbors.

Curious about the Enneagram? Eager to learn more about yourself? Ready to have healthier relationships with those who are hard to understand? Then this book and our six-week study are just for you.

Kick-Off Meeting for The Path Between Us is Wednesday, January 26 at 6:00 PM in the Mission and Fellowship Center. (Childcare will be provided. Please contact fbcsylva@gmail.com or Cheryl Beck to let us know your child will be attending).
