Christmas Offering

If you're looking for a Christmas gift for a loved one, choose to give a gift in honor or in memory of someone special through our Christmas Offering! The income we receive from this offering will be divided equally between our local mission partners, namely: Jackson County Neighbors in Need, AWAKE, Circles of Hope, and Blue Ridge Health Jackson. When you make a contribution to this Christmas Offering, the church will send an informative–and handsome!–Christmas card to the person you are choosing to honor. Christmas Offering envelopes are available in both the pew racks in our sanctuary and in our church office.

A Note from Circles of Hope

Dear Friends in Christ -
A simple act of kindness creates an endless ripple! The unification that has evolved since Circles of Hope's inception is blessings upon blessings! What an inflow of love, support, and donations the people of Jackson County and those miles beyond home bestowed on our project because that ripple continues to expand and grow for those in need in our community! Praise God!
Circles of Hope is filled with gratitude for your continued support and donations. Our commitment is to reach 10% of the 9,000 people now living in poverty in this county. We all know that will truly bring positive changes.
To our Circle Leaders and those who just graduated in July 2018, Circles establishes hope, encouragement, alleviating
fear of the future, instilling confidence to proceed in new directions, how to manage finances and difficult situations, and learning how to have a positive job interview.
"In other words, we may not be able to control all events that happen to us, but we can learn ways and decide not to be reduced by them." - MA
Again, we thank you from our hearts for being a rainbow in someone else's cloud! Remember our dreams are wishes, thoughts, actions, ideas, lessons, wants, and realizations, and that's exactly what you are truly helping to accomplish for our program for others! Please continue to stay connected with us!
Sincerely,
Laura Wallace

Thank You from Circles of Hope

A thank you note in response to our Christmas offering gift:

Dear Christian Friends,
Your most generous donation to Jackson County Circles of Hope is greatly appreciated. Due to people like you and your blessed donations and receiving special grants, Circles of Hope are able to have started in January 2018 to hire a part-time Case Worker for our organization.
Circles is about celebrating the significance of the individual and the importance of moving forward in a positive direction.
Through the classes offered and being matched with mentors of our community has helped our endeavor to address underlying causes of poverty and helping people attain economic stability.
Our last class graduated on January 30, 2018, at your blessed church. Now they're on to new and exciting accomplishments in their lives.
As the following Circle Leader will attest:
"I really didn't know what Circles was all about. I did join in because I felt welcomed in the group of Circle Leaders. I received help about what I wanted to do as a career and how to get started. Going to Circles was the best decision of my life. I am now working in the field I wanted to be in and it's looking like I can even surpass what I thought I could do. Now I am also an Ambassador speaking about Circles of Hope to groups." - John
Truly, you are demonstrating your love and compassion for others. We thank you and encourage you to stay involved with us. Enthusiastic and caring people are always needed in our lifetimes.
Sincerely,
Laura Wallace
Have a blessed day!
