Spotlight on GAs

Sylva FBC Girls in Action (GAs) are an active group with close to 20 girls, grades K-5 involved.  Thanks to their creative leaders Gaye Buchanan, Emily Taylor, and Sandi Allen, the GAs' weekly meetings are informative and fun.  This fall they've learned about missionaries in Canada and outreach to refugees.  This month they are exploring mission work in Hawaii.  Games, food, and crafts are a big part of their learning experience.

At their November 3rd meeting the group packed snack bags of candy to share with United Christian Ministries.  Stay tuned for more ways GAs reach out to the community!

(GAs meet in the Children's classroom at the end of the hall on second floor each Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  All girls are invited to participate.)
