“Easter” was the theme for 1st Explorers last week and the children had fun celebrating. On Tuesday, they listened to the story of Jesus’ resurrection and then had an Easter egg hunt.
On Thursday, Kayla Hartman introduced the Resurrection Eggs and the children took turns telling parts of the Easter story. Mr. Curtis came from the Health Department and shared information about spring plants and then enjoyed playtime with the kids.
Everyone enjoyed a fun egg relay race where teams had to get 12 eggs from one basket to the next using only air to move the egg. On Friday, the 1st Explorers had play practice with Mrs. Marina.
