Grits and Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
2 cups water
1/2 cup uncooked grits
4 cups grated cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound sausage

Instructions
Cook sausage, drain.  Cook grits in 2 cups water.  Mix all ingredients.  Pour into 13”x9” baking pan.  Let set overnight in refrigerator.  Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50-55
minutes.
