Ingredients
1 3-ounce package strawberry gelatin
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1 10-ounce package sliced frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/2 Angel Food cake, torn in pieces
Instructions
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar, and salt. Cool until mixture begins to thicken. Whip cream and fold into gelatin mixture. Cover bottom of 9-inch pan with half of the half cake you have torn. Pour in half of strawberry and cream mixture. Repeat. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours. Garnish with whole strawberries, if desired.
