Music, music, music filled After School last week. Cheryl Beck led 2 Psalm songs for Chapel on Monday while the 1st Explorers played drums on the table. Diane Shallock continued her Monday schedule working with the children using ORFF instruments. There was even a competitive musical chairs game.
Pastor Blake Daniel from 1st Presbyterian and Jessica Green from FUMC led Chapel on 2 days last week.
RAs and GAs were busy. RAs made a special card for Pastor Jeff; GAs enjoyed a fun game of Four Square outside which tied in with their missions study for the month.
Other enrichment activities for the week included Science with Emily Taylor and Freeze Dance and more musical chairs with the 1st Explorers students and staff led by Curtis Collins from the Health Department. Curtis wrapped up his visit with a time of peaceful children's mediation. Then he stayed and played building block games with the kids.
