The theme for 1st Explorers last week was “Do Jesus Stuff” and included these ways to be like Jesus: Be Kind, Tell the Truth, Share What You Have, and Forgive. The children completed the Cuba handprint craft—a project done with the children of our partner church in Holquin. Curtis Collins visited from the Health Department and in his fun and interesting way shared tips for being emotionally healthy. Homework time is going well and the children had lots of fun playing outside in the spring-like weather.
