1st Explorers have hit the ground running after Christmas vacation! Hyacinths are in full bloom as part of a science experiment conducted by the older girls. After a Chapel devotion for the new year, the children wrote ways they can share Christ’s love this year and placed them on a bulletin board outside the Children’s Sunday School classroom. Emily Taylor brought cool science activities on Tuesday and will continue this throughout the year. Curtis Collins also visited from the Health Department. Homework time is being implemented and the children have enjoyed a number of indoor activities during the inclement weather of early January.
As always, thanks to Melanie Stokely, her staff, and the volunteers who make this vital ministry of the church run smoothly.
