Paula Settle
Former CBF Partner with Together for Hope - Kentucky
Together for Hope is celebrating its 20th Anniversary! What began in 2001 as a bold vision for poverty alleviation in the 20 poorest counties in the United States has expanded to the 301 counties of persistent poverty in the U.S., with four full-time and three part-time staff, over 42 coalition members and over 80 strategic partners, with $1.8 million in grants awarded, and thousands of homes built or repaired, children engaged in programs, and volunteers committed.
Paula Settle is known and loved by many at First Baptist Sylva.
Paula Settle has had a long and amazing ministry that led her from Iowa to North Carolina to Togo to Georgia back to North Carolina to Tennessee and then to Kentucky. She has served with churches in Asheville, Asheboro, CWJC in Raleigh Baptist Association (all in NC) with IMB and with CBF. Those who know Paula know her approach to life has always been to serve others in Jesus’ name with rock solid dedication. She has often overlooked her own needs and stretched her time and resources to try to help one more person.
Paula is in the battle of her life after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Pray for Paula as she receives treatment and continues to work with refugees in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Pray. . .Give. . .Go.
