Safety was the theme of last week’s programming at after school. Members of the rescue squad visited and shared information about their work and answered lots of questions. Staff members did skits on bus safety, sidewalk safety, and 911 calls. God’s protection was emphasized in Chapel. It was a good week!
This week, “Fall” is the theme, which was introduced by Beth Moore with a walk around the church yard to collect items for a fall collage.
Thank you to Gaye Buchanan and Charlie White for checking children in and out on Thursday and Friday. We need some others to be our “welcoming crew” from 2:50 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. each day. If you would like to extend a smile and “how was your day” to the children, and greet the parents who pick up their children, please let Cheryl Beck know. This is a good ministry opportunity for our church.
