Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 cups blueberries
Instructions
1. Stir the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
2. Cream the butter and sugar in a separate large bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the vanilla.
3. Blend in half the flour mixture and then half the milk.
4. Add the rest of the flour and milk, and blend.
5. Add the blueberries to the batter and use a rubber spatula to fold them in.
6. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners or grease the cups. Fill the muffin cups almost to the top with the batter.
7. Bake for 25 minutes or until light brown.
