“Dear First Baptist Church Family,
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the overwhelming spirit of love we felt from all of you in our last days of active membership at First Baptist. Both of us feel our lives are richer and more immersed in God’s love because of our years with you. We treasure the gift of the lovely picture and even more so the many signatures around it. We are framing it, and it will have a prominent place in our new home. We felt your honoring us on May 31 was one of the most meaningful events in our lives. It seemed to be a service of consecration for us as we entered a new phase of our lives. It was touching and humbling.
God has kept His promise to us to do more than we could ever ask or imagine. (Thank you, Jeff, for that beautiful benediction each Sunday!). We covet your prayers as we begin a new phase of church affiliation with Winter Park Baptist here in Wilmington.
Larry continues to visit specialists here and will have surgery on both eyes these next weeks. Keep him in your prayers. He continues to do well in controlling a sodium imbalance.
