We are proud of Linda Todd Phelps who was recently elected to a 3-year term on the Woman’s Missionary Union North Carolina(WMUNC) Executive Board, representing Region 10 (Jackson County west). She will be serving on the Camp Committee, the Preschool/Children/Youth Ministry Team, and on the WMUNC Scholarship Committee.
Linda is well acquainted with the ministries of WMU of North Carolina. From 1987 to 1991 she served on the NCWMU staff as Acteens Consultant and Camp Mundo Vista Director.
Excited about this opportunity to serve in this way at this time in her life, Linda asks FBC Sylva to pray for her as she begins this task. In September she will participate in a WMUNC mission trip to Vermont.
