Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1 egg
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Instructions
Cream the margarine and sugar. Add the egg and mix. Mix until fluffy.
Sift together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking soda, and nutmeg. Mix in to creamed ingredients. Add 2 Tbsp. molasses and mix well.
Roll dough into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten balls with the bottom of a glass that has been greased and dipped into white sugar. Dip into sugar again between each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes.
