Gingerbread Cookies

  • 3/4 cup of unsalted butter softened

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup of molasses

  • 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp of ginger

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix butter and sugar

  3. Next, add egg and molasses and mix well

  4. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients

  5. Add dry ingredient mixture to wet mixture and mix until well combined

  6. Form small golf-sized balls and place on a baking sheet 2 to 3 inches apart

  7. Bake for 10 12 minutes
