Trunk or Treat was a Success!

Happy November 4th! It has been an unusual fall season for us as we have not been able to socialize as we would like. One group that has been hard hit is our children. This past Friday afternoon we set a plan in motion to help alleviate that just a little bit. We planned a “trunk or treat” in our parking lot for our Study Buddies and 1st Explorers families. Costumes, pumpkins and treats galore, brought some much needed “almost normal” to our children. It was a great afternoon with lot’s of joyful children (and some equally joyful adults!). On behalf of our children, I would like to express MUCH thanks to those who participated in our event. Whether you provided a “trunk” or sent candy, you are greatly appreciated! Some went all in on their decorations and I would like to highlight a few of those trunks with a Spirit Award. - Rev. Carol Cloer
