New Canvas Art in Mission Fellowship Center

We would like to send a huge thank you to Joseph Moon, Linda Stewart, Harold Messer, and everyone else involved in this project. We now have three beautiful canvases on the wall in the entrance to the Mission and Fellowship Center. They capture our mission statement and display the beauty of the mountains that surround us.

Meet Kristina Lo!

Kristina works on our 1st Explorers Ministry Staff in our After School Ministry.

Where are you from? Conover, North Carolina.
If you are in school, what year are you in and what is your major? I am a Senior seeking a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
When you were in Kindergarten, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a doctor.
Now, today, what kind of a career do you want to have? I hope that in the near future my career will focus on being a Biomedical Engineer. I am also considering other options such as continuing to pursue a higher nursing license than what I already have obtained and/or to become a coach.
Favorite Bible verse or story (and why?): Joshua 1:9 which is, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
"I spend a lot of my free time doing...": I spend a lot of my free time with my family and best friend, in the great outdoors, fishing, and playing sports.
"One thing I love about living in Western North Carolina is...": being able to see the different color changes throughout each of the seasons.
"One thing I want to do before graduating is...": explore more into the hiking trails and fish the different bodies of water in Western North Carolina.
